Submit your resume and get your Dream job . This say can be found on almost every job site where you register yourself while seeking for a  job. But have you ever realized what happens next after your posting. Have you ever thought that after you post what happens to your resume . What steps are followed by the executive search consultants to shortlist your resume for their clients.

Resume Database Search


The first preliminary process  followed by recruiters are such that from a large pool of candidates a particular database is prepared. Each candidate is put in the excel sheet prepared by the database team  and after that next process of resume screening start taking place.

Resume Screening


After preparing a proper data from different sources i.e job postings, website contact us pages, referrals etc the recruiters then begin the process of Resume screening. Under this process according to the Skills and expertise mentioned by the candidates in their resumes screening is done. It is essential for the candidates to write about skills and expertise in a particular column in order to get their resumes noticed otherwise even if the candidate is well qualified but does not mention about his/her skills the resume will get unnoticed by the recruiter.

Filtering Process


The process of short listing the candidates does not stop here. After the screening of the candidates another process of filtering starts in which from the  screened candidates filtered candidates are selected. The recruiters in that pool of screened candidates selects a list of candidates that are finally called for interviews. These candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their experience, educational qualifications, salary packages etc. Those candidates who clearly fit into  the requirements of the organization are then being called by recruiters.

Interview Process


After all these steps the final exam of interview comes. The shortlisted candidates are called for interviews. After taking the interviews again a list is prepared in which the recruiters have to check upon the expertise and salary demands of the candidate and then with accordance to the budget of the organization and the performance of the candidate finally the candidate is shortlisted for the post.
